gamba motivational camp
Individually the programs run smoothly although there are lot of delay of time and project changes. On day 1:
Students arrive in the morning although the transportation makes an hur time delay, but still student can arrive at time, since i barely sleep at that time, i can see that the driver speed on 120 km/hour but still students are in safe hands on road. Then when arrives, the dividing of adopt family are done informally with just the help of PA system from props and tech. But for the real opening ceremony on the eveningthere seems to be lack of cooperation from members in term of managing the props.some opportuninity can be done with the use of time from morning to be used for rhearsal, but it is not used.
On day 2:
Gotong royong programme are held on that on the evening(reports on gotong royong are on other page). Meanwhile, on the evening preparation for forum and talk by datin are held. But, as student are late for the talk by Datin at 5 pm, students from DnT and Prep N Tech are urged to sit in the talk to cover the students that are late to satisfy Datin. On the night, forum was held, althoughh with little help of other committee from PnT, but the forum preparation is smooth although some people at the back can barely see the slide (altgough it is not used) and the speaker also talks to long and drag the time because as far as i am concerned, there are four session of forum, but since the time was dragged, only two session is spared. From this, the speaker need to be reminded everytime about their time limit.
Day 3
Started with aerobic which didnt need the help of PnT because the villagers have their own PA system and just need the help pf set-up it. Then proceed to motivational camp, for this event,again transportation became a problem because the driver was not informed and reminded that he need to transport students to school that became the venue for motivational camp, but PnT really did ood job there , set-up the whole hall area and the facey also did good although there are fights between students. On the evening, preparation for kendusri was held. Again, student ws late but mostly appear for the preparation. For this catering team are doing very good job arraging and helping or kenduri. Meanwhile, on the night kenduri and movie show (hantu kak limah balik rumah). Overall. Lots of villagers are participating this event and makes it one of the most participating event with villagers.
Day 4
Again,started wth aerobic and lots of request from students to do pocho- pocho, then proceed to sukan rakyat and explorace that is done at the field. For explorace, students are needded to explore the whole wang besar village and really experience the fun of being in paddy field. Altough some penalty are unrational, but still, it creates the best memory for whole participants. Same with sukan rakyat, participation from villagers are very good.on the evening,rhearsal for closing ceremony and set-up for closing are done. On the night, closing ceremony are done and got great praises from VIP’s for the effort.
Last day
Again, transportation creates problem,students are scheduled to go home on the morning but the bus are late causes student to depart at 2 pm . then students went to grape farm in Perlis and Padang Besar to shopping ,althought the depart time to IIUM is late but since e have a very experienced driver that driives about 140 km/ hour, we arrive at IIUm in scheduled time.
